Sonnet For Him
What light dost thou compare to thy sweet face,
Although tis fair, La Lune, it can’t compare,
With your soft touch, you fill my heart with grace,
My heart craves your just love, almost like air.
Your spirit shimmers “bove the morning haze,
Your heart so pure, t’was I you chose to share,
I think of you amidst a lovers gaze,
For you my love, t’was I that chose to care.
One night I wished upon a shooting star,
For all the years of hurt to go away,
And when I ‘oped my eyes to see you there,
My heart, it flew, when you were there to stay.
A dream its not, it really did come true,
For years I fought, and now my dream is you.
