To Justify the Impossible
Yellow star stitched onto small, drab school clothes
People branded as voiceless animals;
Bitter shepherds turned deaf as screams arose
Savage rectitude, a world in shambles…
Deadlier than bullets, revenge slipped out,
Reeking in the narrow streets, unnoticed.
Unhurriedly, the widespread strings stretched taut—
By Death’s charred lips, the ruined souls were kissed
Friends, mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters
Slain in the name of hatred and silence
Bullies soon became ruthless murderers
Undistinguished, they grew like a virus,
Helpless, scarred bodies torn from loved ones’ hands
They were never just orders, just commands.
Is Impossible
