The memories are strong of me and you
Of every place we ventured new
The way you laughed and smiled bright
Would always be my favorite sight
The pictures taken and moments shared
There’s nothing else that can compare
The stolen kisses and love notes hidden
You’d always say you were so smitten
I've loved you then and I love you now
You said your feelings left somehow
I’d give my heart my soul my mind
If only I could call you mine
But you've moved on and I'm still waiting
For memories of us to start abating
