Love Given Blindly
There was a girl who fell in love so deep,
with eyes of green and laughter like the sun.
She gave her heart solely for him to keep,
for she believed that he had been the one.
When winter hit, her hope was bit by frost;
his kiss was colder than the snow that fell.
He broke her, never thinking of the cost
and she resides in her own form of hell.
Her eyes are dull and now she rarely grin
for now her heart is missing from within.
