The Proposal: I Do

I never thought this day would come,
Who knew I'd be the one,
to say yes to such a proposal,
to agree to such a commitment.
He changed everything in my life,
The way I think, the way I feel,
The oddest thing is I want this,
I have no doubt in my mind.
I knew he was the one,
The moment I said those words,
The words that mean forever and always,
Us together, thinking and moving as one.
He has my heart in his hands now,
And I have made a promise, to love him forever.
