Murder of a Murder
I am lying on the floor waiting
Staring at the knife across the way
The blood won’t stop flowing
Like water it won’t stay
That man left me to perish in my house
Can I endure as everything turns red
He wore clothes as old as Rome
I wonder what it was he said
The pain felt inside will it ever end
No matter how many people I kill
Will my heart ever unbend
How strong is life’s will
My parents taught me not to run
I close my eyes to the rising sun
