Galaxies
When I look into the night sky, I think
the stars up above can shine, why can’t I?
The galaxies in their fine shades of pink
the planets in their orbit, they can fly.
I’ve always dreamt of being alive, free.
I’ve always wanted to be limitless.
I’m spending my life in captivity.
Now here comes the time when I must address
myself and ask a question of this life.
If clouds have the choice to float as they want,
why’m I enduring unbearable strife,
if others live life without any haunt?
As electrons will attach to protons,
I’ll make use of myself before I’m gone.
