Panes as Oceans
The day starts dark,
Then brightens by blue light,
Coming from the curved ark
of curtains opened cautious after night.
Glass windows hold globes of rain
And magnify outdoors.
They push and slide down the pane,
Each drop warping the world it explores.
As the slow day goes on it stays this way.
Water covers a view worldwide,
Just like an ocean spray,
A old and ancient divide.
