Little bluebird
Little bluebird
I can see you down in that hole
You feel lost
You don’t know where to go
I’ll tell you where
I’ll show you the way
Save your tears for another day
Little bluebird
Down in a hole
You’ve been there
Many times before
It never seems to stop you
From flying some more
Today you’re still there
A guest in your own tier
Bluebird
I see why you’re sad
Your wing is injured
And it’s really bad
The world is so big
Outside of your hole
Watch the sunset little bluebird
and make yourself whole
Wings broken
Hopes shattered
You tried to fly
Instead you were battered
Nothing matters
At least anymore
Little little bluebird
You can still fly
If you haven’t yet said good bye
Little bluebird
Down in a hole
Your wing is injured
And your heart is full

Gil: I would like you to read my novel and get your opinion.
Ernest Hemingway: I hate it.
Gil: You haven't even read it yet.
Ernest Hemingway: If it's bad, I'll hate it. If it's good, then I'll be envious and hate it even more. You don't want the opinion of another writer.
