Summer
Each year I await the time school will come to end
And I can be hanging out with my best friend.
Eating flavored snowballs like lemon-lime
And spending all our money down to the last dime.
Laying out and swimming in the pool
And running around like a crazy fool.
Spending all day playing marco polo
And reminiscing on memories from a year ago.
Staying outside the entire day
Out on our bikes finding our way
Through the bike trails and the trees.
Can we stay forever please?
Sadly, each year it must come to a close.
Summer all year, I may propose?
