What Was Done
Early summer, just you and me
The next move is your call
You want to be across the sea
I plea and feel so small
You never know a good thing ‘till it’s gone
We’ll suffer till its early dawn
I guess you can say this isn’t my cup of tea
I’m trapped in this cell wall
You have all the answers on your palm
Instead you choose the gun
Tears come as I fall to my knees
You think heaven is the key
Now you’re gone, forever
But tonight my heart says we’re together
