Broken Angel
The beautiful angel of heaven above
Pure as a virgin and as new fallen snow
Regardless of her generosity, sweet love
She'd never know what happens down below
Alas, the innocent devil she was
Her tender wings ripped from her back
Ignorant to God's will-what he gives, what he does.
The requirements of heaven she now did lack.
She falls through the clouds, through dampened atmosphere
Toward her doom, demise, swirling turmoil
She didn't heed God's words- cherish them and revere
Plummeting toward hell, leaving this mortal coil
And she'd leave this world eternal
As she's led to a place infernal.
