Love Lost and FOund
My tears, they fell like the cold pouring rain.
They left wet trails like rivers on my cheeks.
My heart was once free but was left in chains.
My heart was torn, broken and then so weak.
Hurt and pain rumbled like a storm’s thunder.
With each memory lay a scar so deep.
Love had gone, died, an eternal slumber.
My heart’s pieces were left for me to reap.
Like an angel, you were sent from above.
You seized emotions that became so vile.
Under the dust I found a speck of love
by the light of your comforting smile.
By your love you rebuilt my broken heart.
By your love it will never fall apart.
