Hoping
Behind you is one life left
Ahead, your work begins anew
Like the caterpillar from its cocoon bereft
It spreads its dappled wings and flew
You will flit among the flowers of life
Bringing joy and light to those nearby
And never will you be troubled by strife
For sadness has left you, the little butterfly
You will work on and on
Till the day draws to its close
And the light of the sun is gone
With all its vibrant glows
But when at last light pours forth from the golden sun
You can always look forward to whats just beyond the horizon
