Night
The moonlight falls in pale, florescent tears,
Projecting ashen shadows through the trees,
Illuminating even those worst fears,
And dancing ballroom waltzes with the breeze.
As darkness creeps into each mind and soul,
Stars that glimmer faintly burn through night.
And Northern lights cascade o'er Northern pole,
Aurora Borealis taking flight.
But moonlight fades to give way to the sun
That blindingly emits a gentle heat.
Those million stars instead blaze as just one,
That paints majestic orange through softer peat.
Though day is beautiful, for this is true,
The night transforms the world to dreamy blue.
