Don't Have To Be Good
I started off worried, did not last long
After the first game, it all came right back
To think it would stay away was very wrong
I believed I could be better than Shaq
I didn’t really like it much at first
I don’t remember why I even tried
I was so bad, I believed I was cursed.
Some said it was easy, I know they lied
I was shooting air ball after air ball
Well at least I could say my team is good
We are all fast and we are all very tall
That leaves me always sitting on the wood
You might be wondering why I still play
It’s because basketball brightens my day
