Pain;
Pain is like an indescribable wound;
Sometimes not even knowing where it starts,
But it takes its toll on you much too soon,
Tearing through all the emotions of hearts.
Pain takes possession of your heart and mind
It captures you inside its dark bubble,
Directing your thoughts to things left behind,
Wanting to destroy you into rubble.
But you cannot stay wrapped up in your past.
Look into your future and take a chance.
Live each new day as if it were your last,
'Cause it will all be over in a glance.
With all the hurt, there's a will inside you
That gives you the desire to pull through.
