Sonnet to E
It all started on that winter day
I never knew how lost I had been
I said words I thought I’d never say
You’re always there to stop my head as it spins
Times together seem to be endless
Even though they only started yesterday
You taught me to be myself, and more adventurous
Every day with you seems like a birthday
Slowly but surely I grew to love you
The way you put a smile on any face
On those days I see nothing but blue
You truly have been my saving grace
My days have been tiresome and rough
But for everything I can never thank you enough
