The world lighting up brings us together
For a time unknown, we share a brightness
Glistens in the sky during great weather
And gives a sense of great hope with lightness
Joy and happiness is rolled into one
When it is needed it comes to our aid
Yet pain is present and not so much fun
With burns and diseases, we are afraid
To face the horror of a summer day
However when the darkness approaches
We wish that the sun was now here, to stay
Goes above and beyond it encroaches
The sun is a beautiful creation
As it gives the world illumination
