My heart melted in the snow
My tears got lost
In the abyss of winter’s glow

I left you in the white fields
I left you in the holly
You took away my warmth
And covered up the jolly

Grab your coat and take this season
Accept my sorrow, and seize my reason
Bundle up now and carry on
I’m dancing by myself
Into spring’s sweet dawn

This peice is about the end of a bad relationship I had over the winter. I'm letting go and melting away the sorrow. If you can relate, hope you have a happy and fun- filled spring!!

The expression of this poem is original and it is very steady. I wanted to read it over and over again. Gorgeous work. Please rate mine.:) I'd also love some pointers.

first off, let me just say that i love the title; very appropriate for the content of the poem :) this is just a great piece. i like all the feelings and heartbreak emotions put into this. i love the line "grab your coat and take this season. accept my sorrow, and seize the reason." it's brilliant! :) great job overall!! if you wouldn't mind, could you check out some of my work? :)
