Love sonnet
Love,
It is the most talked about thing
It’s when you don’t see a thing
Other than the one that you love
It is represented by a dove
It begins anew by the giving of a ring
And it is mistaken for almost everything
But why is it usually mistaken for someone we’re in awe of
Because of the current place
Where most people get it wrong
And love has few that really understand
Where love’s scaled on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd base
Or if when we see them, we almost drop our tongue
Or if our knees are still strong enough to stand
