Fun in The Sun
The sun is blazing down on all the kids.
My shoulders are red and burning, O’ yikes!
The clouds offer no cover for the kids.
My right-hand feels like it is made of spikes.
The sand feels like tiny spikes
The sand feels like burning coals on my feet
I step on wet sand my feet cool off.
Coquina Clams tickle my feet, hehe!
Little kids build terrible sand castles.
Everybody hunts for the lovely shells.
I wish I could build a giant castle.
Little kids cannot say bye or farewell.
You cannot leave without pants full of sand
The beach is awesome, so I understand.

I love going to the beach and reading while getting a tan. I wrote this piece because there's nothing that brings me joy like the beach. I feel like this represents my time at the beach.
