School
Anxiety is always there
Waiting to get you
Floating through the air
Hoping you forgot what you knew
The hallways begin to narrow
No way to get out
Feeling like you’ve been shot with an arrow
Your life has become full of doubt
Homework is neverending
Hour after hour
Your life is starting to need some mending
From the loss of power
All you do is study
Even though you begin to fail
Because your thoughts become muddy
Hopefully summer doesn’t come as slow as a snail
