Time to Embrace
Different skin color,
No different then your brother,
Might be if a different race, feeling misplaced,
Just because of the color of his skin, just trying to fit in,
About to give in, but driven to make a change,
tired of living in disgrace, Hard to embrace.
Tired of living in discrimination, tired of his situation,
Waking up everyday hoping today is the day he gets treated equal to others.

Racism inspired me to write this piece. What I hope people will get from this poem is that we are all equal and to stop discriminating people just because there of a different race or religion than yours.
