Oceans
So it goes, crashing back,
Low tide of emotions I lack.
You can’t say I didn’t try,
You left me here with a lie.
An approaching high tide of agony is nigh,
Yet all that is heard are the waves of constant sighs.
An ocean of emotion that’s tossing and turning me.
Reflections in the water of who I used to be.
All taken from me, in this ocean of emotion.
Ocean of emotion
And I ride these waves of an ocean that goes on for days.
Salt from my tears of dismay and disbelief,
Darken the clouds of my grief.
Threatening to become a hurricane of my pain.
Attempting to make efforts to shore all seem to be in vain.
An ocean of emotion that’s tossing and turning me.
Reflections in the water of who I used to be.
All taken from me, in this ocean of emotion.

This is a song I wrote for a main character in the story I'm writting. The image goes lovely with the song and the state my charcter was in. That being said the image is not my own.
