Scenery is nothing more than poetry.
Love is nothing more than chemicals.
'Cause fairy tales are just scribbled pages filled with happy endings and little white lies.
One person can make a difference, but a crowd can make a change.

Hey mom, I know we haven't been on the best of talking terms,
I never listen, but that's what I'm trying to learn.
It's a hard thing, living life on my own,
But every time you call, I realize I'm not alone.
I hope you can forgive my uncaring personality, all of my regretful insults I've said,
I would like to say I'm sorry for putting them in your head.
So if it's alright with you, I'd like to see you again,
Just let me know when I can.
Oh, I'm coming home, back to where I belong,
None of the ridiculous fights of who is right or wrong.
So unlock my room, it hasn't been touched in quite awhile,
And I can't wait to see you're beautiful smile.
Oh, I'm coming home, I should have never left,
And all my belongings I hope you kept.
So, mom, I wanna let you know,
I'm coming home.
Yo, Dad, you were never in my life and that's okay,
Mom was always there for me, it'll always be this way.
I didn't wanna include you in this but what the hell?
You never checked in to see if either of us was doing well.
I think it's best if you never come back,
Because the word 'father' isn't even in my vocab.
I know for a fact you should continue to leave me alone,
Because at least with mom, I can still come home.
I remember the address, don't need to remind me anymore,
I'll be here as soon as possible, straight through the front door.
Never been this excited to see you before,
'Cause the game is over, there is no score.
And my heart's been a little poor,
Since the night I walked out an dropped it on the floor.
And hey, mom, I'm coming home at four,
Because you're what I cannot ignore.
So, mom, I wanna let you know,
I'm coming home...
