A true friend will be there if it's important to you
A true friend is always there and always will be
A true friend is what you've never been to me
Sorry, too blunt, to quick to the heart
I'll back back up
Anyway
It's time to restart

It ain't a competition
Let's try to be friends
Or not and leave everyone else to make amends
It's the end of the road
We're running out of time
Now I'm sitting here busting out a rhyme
Or do you even care
No you don't
Do your part
Or let's just rewind and restart
