Pen in my hand, writing a love story,
About a boy and girl who fell in love to marry.
But nobody gave them the support they needed,
It didn't matter that they begged and pleaded.
The boy packed his bags and disappeared in the middle of the night,
Didn't tell his girl which left his mind contrite.
He thought he was the problem in the conflict,
And so he planned a solution that was easy and quick.
Before he vanished he left one little note to her,
His promise wasn't broken, they're still on for forever.
A love story never works out the way you plan,
Two people wanna be together, but society doesn't understand.
Now I'm taking my time to move a story along,
And prove all the non-believers wrong.
That love will prevail even through the toughest times,
It only takes dedication and two strong minds.
Don't let people break you apart,
'Cause if it's meant to be, then follow your heart.
I'll probably get criticized but it doesn't bother me,
I'm writing another love story.
Plenty of ink, so onto the next chapter,
This tale is far from over.

How about when the girl thought her heart had been at theft?
Well, the girl found out so she left her home,
Couldn't stay in a house without a prince to call her own.
She escaped the tower she was being held in,
Off to find the boy she longed to love again.
No clues left behind to know where she would head,
Parents woke up without a word to be said.
