Sounds of Desperation

Replace my soul with the depths of your sadness
Breathe a breath of life into me
Create the evolution I need to survive
Surrender your heart to me
Cry me tears of absolute angst
Scream out for all existence to hear
But hide your sorrows deep within yourself
Do not let them know you are near.
Give into the sounds of desperation
Free yourself in the chains of those you love
Burdens unleashed with every waking breathe
Like angels we will rise above
Who would of thought we’d ever be saved
That someone would come looking for us
After all we thought we had lost ourselves
Building up our walls of trust
