What A Girl Wants
want the love that engulfs you
the love that hurts
I want the love that makes you cry
because you're so damn happy
and you love this person so damn much
I want that love
i want the love that makes you love sappy rom- coms
I want the love that makes you annoyingly happy all the freaking time
I want the love that'll make me stay with someone
I want the love that'll give me faith in someone
i want the love that you can trust to stick around
I want the love that engulfs you
I want the love that engulfs you
every touch
every breath
every sense being lit on fire
a passion that never dies
forever a roman flame
that burns and burns
and keeps burning as you are engulfed back into the stream of love again
I want the love of the adorable old couple down the street
the ones that still bicker
and fight
and argue
but in a cute way
I want the love of the adorable old couple down the street
with him still sending her poems and flowers
and her still singing in the kitchen
I want the happy love
not the sad love
not the love that makes you cry
not the love that makes you wonder why
why do you love this person…
if all they've ever done is treat you badly
that makes you wonder why you should love someone as awful and low as them
I've had that love and outgrown it
I'm ready for the happy love
the kind of love that engulfs you
and makes you so annoyingly happy and passionate
that you're still singing and writing love poems as an adorable old couple that lives down the street
