Subconsciously
I've got to many thoughts
To many unspoken words
They're stacked so high the top is blurred
Maybe one day I'll learn
Maybe one day I'll see
Chorus
I must be good at hiding
Cause none of you know
The secrets you can see
They're scratched all over me
Ohh it's a cry for help
Subconsciously
It's all that I can do
I've got so many faces
But somehow they end up all the same
Ohh I know I carry around the family shame
But what else can I say
I didn't plan it out this way
Chorus
I've shed so many tears
Along the way just trying to change
But I won't let me rearrange
I always go back subconsciously
Ohh I'm back to being the lonely broken me
That everyone hates to see
It happens
oh so subconsciously
