Light up the Sky
You set ablaze like the sunset
Slowly lighting up my sky
Setting fire
To everything I knew
As the sun sank away behind you
You didn’t even look back
To see me
You just let the world fall down around you
Oh and you let it rain
You let it rain for all to see
And I just stood there
For what seemed to me
Like years
Until I just couldn’t see
Through my tears
But it just kept raining on
Everyone
That sunset
Was lost
But you kept your head up
Let the sun go up in flames
You kept all the ashes
Flying high
And I thought
Chorus: no one could light up the sky
Like us
No one could screw up the sky
Like we did
We didn’t let anyone escape us
And we let the sun go up in flames
And we let it fall down on everyone’s face
Those scars won’t go away
My sunset burned away
Only yesterday
Those ashes they still run
Down the street drains
And the sky is all grey
Like its been pissed
And the world fell down at your
Fingertips
Chorus
