You told me that I wasn't pretty,
And tried to bring me down,
I just believed you,
And stayed on the ground,

And all that time I was thinking,
There's nobody to love me,
But now I see...

'God' loves ugly,
He doesn't see the way you see,
And I know I'm pretty,
Because God loves me!!!
Yeah God loves me!!!

I used to feel insecure,
Used to hate myself,
I often stood in front of the mirror,
And wished to be someone else,

And all that time I was thinking,
There's nobody to love me,
But now I see...

'God' loves ugly,
He doesn't see the way you see,
And I know I'm pretty,
Because God loves me!!!
Yeah God loves me!!!

Maybe I haven't got that beauty,
For which someone will love me,
Maybe I'll never get that beauty,
For which anyone will love me,

This poem is for all the persons who think they are not pretty. I used to feel insecure but now I know that God loves me!!!

Wow! Just wow! This is the kind of song I want to hear at my church retreats its so inspirational and speaks the truth. If only more people could see this. AMAZING I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

This is really good :) I'm not actually that religious but I believe in God and I don't always think I need God's love, but I think it's important to have the confidence in yourself and I believe God assists you with that confidence :) Anyway good song :D
