Lost in the City
Lost in the city.
Don't know where I'm going.
Hope I find my way.
Got the radio a flowing.
There's no signs of a slowing.
Don't try stopping me now.
And I said HEY, get out of my way.
Cruising down the interstate.
Going eighty miles an hour.
With my Oldsmobile power.
Still hoping I'll find my way.
I know that I should give up right now.
But something says move on somehow.
So I keep going.
No signs of slowing.
Lost in the city.
Still can't find where I'm going.
I fear I'll never get there.
Got my buddies in the backseat.
They're relaxing, tapping their feet,
To our favorite song.
And I said HEY, get out of my way.
Laughing down the interstate.
We might not find where we're going.
Still no signs of a slowing.
Hope I never find my way.
Who really needs to get there right now?
We're having too much fun any how.
