The Other Side
I took a drive to get things off my mind
I didn't know quite where to go
Just driving till I found
Some peace of mind
Where the only thing I could waste was time
Chorus
I saw things I never saw before
Things I always blocked off by a door
I played it safe, yeah safe and sound
But now I'm looking and finding new things all around
I can't believe I never knew this other side
I found that spot of ours
That dug deeper in my scars
But now I think I'm okay
I can't really remember the things you'd say
And with that peace of mind
I think I'll keep on with my drive
Chorus
I ran into this park
There was no one else around
I found some peace in the dark
I wasn't so lonely in the silent sound
Cause I finally found
That little piece of mind
That everything was going to be fine
Chorus
