Mirrors, Faces, and Roses
Once upon a time...yet it was a crazy scene
To think you were my sick kind of dream
Lots of faces in the mirror, so which ones have you known
Pick which one fits best, so you call it your own
(Chorus) These eyes that stare back at me
Which ones do you wanna see?
The ones that mattered more to me
Or the ones you never took the time to see
Somewhere down this barren empty road
Every crease I bent in the page just began to unfold
I became a broken kind, with the lessons this life teaches
The shattered glass cuts of me, will you pick up those pieces
(Bridge) A passion of acquired taste, I urged to keep alive
A part of you was just killing me, but I hoped it could survive
(Chorus) These eyes that stare back at me
Which ones do you wanna see?
The ones that mattered more to me
Or the ones you never took the time to see (x2)
You gave me every vicious thorn, and I gave you the rose
The garden may be dying love, yet all your flowers grow
