This world is full of lies,
and we divide until we die.
We think it makes us safe,
We are all truly insane.

The shrinking population,
A symbol of our humiliation.
We all kill our future,
We've made a deathly creature.

It's our evaluation,
He takes us out of the equation.
In this world made of lies,
We divide until we die.

We all hate each other,
The love is just a cover.
We never had a chance.
We were all just stuck in a trance.

In this world of lies
We divide until we die.
We think it makes us safe,
We are all truly insane.

We all hate each other,
and the shrinking population,
is our evaluation.

The author's comments:
I wrote this mainly concerning the amount of LGBT suicide in the past year. This is my commentary on how we begin to divide as soon as we are born, and it only gets worse as we age, and the more we divide, the more torn apart we all become until we can't love each other anymore.

Your poem is unique; this is a great topic/idea to write about.

Things to improve? 1. Connect the "world full of lies" to the dividing until we die--it doesn't quite fit with me. 2. Don't rhyme. It feels forced.
