I wanna carry a piece of who I was before so when I hit the wall, I REALLY hit the wall.

The choir is singing the praises to the masses
Emotions to classes who might just believe
Their only words in the air if they have nowhere to go
This talk doesn’t satisfy much anymore

Preach, preach, preach, it will hit some hearts hard
And others will never be the same
Pass to one another the cups prepared
I think He’d like the legal of my illegal drink

We’re all just praying in regards to
Someone we just don’t care
We’re all saying our regards to
Someone we just don’t know.

If we’re just sinners who worship sin
I think it’s more cause to end than begin
These choruses are just wasted breaths
If there’s nothing behind them again

We’re all just praying in regards to
Someone we just don’t care
We’re all saying our regards to
Someone we just don’t know.

I’m prescribing the ultimate medication
This is my prayer, politically correct, meditation
His ultimate is our misconception
Of a love that preceded interception
Why honor him with futile attempts of association?
When all we ask for is deception

If my heart bleeds like the soul inside it
He must know my heart so I can find it
Is it asking for too much?
Is it asking for too much?

If my heart bleeds like the soul inside it
He must know my heart so I can find it
Is it asking for too much?
Is it asking for too much?

I became extremely tired of going to church, and feeling like everyone there was wasting their breath. I'm looking for something with meaning, not people who are looking to be seen.
