Last Dance
My skies are filling with clouds,
Along with my eyes,
Full of unshed tears.
If I had one more chance,
If only this pain,
Would, disappear.
I’d take your hand,
Not knowing it would be, the last time.
I’d guide, your hips in the rhythm of mine.
It'd be our last dance,
The last time we touched,
A symbol,
Of our never ending love..
But the next day,
There'd be no more 'us'.
And I’d regret it forever,
Our last dance would be over.....
Soon.
I’d like you to hear me out,
I love you,
And 'sorry' is all that I’ve got.
I’m not spilling my heart out,
I’m not waiting around for the fairytale ending,
But I want you to, know,
You're still my everything.
I go to sleep at night,
Imagining those deep, beautiful eyes,
The look on your face...
When we kissed for the first time.
And if I knew,
What I know now,
I’d go back to yesterday,
Turn it all around,
I’d change a lot of things,
Starting with…
Our last dance,
And our last kiss.
The last memory,
That I’ll never forget.
Our anniversary is coming up,
As I’m crying and a mess.
Our anniversary,
I wish I had the guts...
To ask for a last dance.
