Mahogany in shade, underneath the wrappings
Perfect in every single way, especially for snacking
A sliver of a nail between the fastened fold
To expose the inner layer of thin and gorgeous gold
The tension grows, the time ticks on – impatience out of hand
The gold is off, the chocolate lies – beautiful and grand
Break off a little corner, crumbling with a crunch
And opening up wide for the first delicious munch
