The Rain
My body's trembling
With excitement you see
For a shower is coming
Is soon to be
A wonderful phenomenon
We all can see
So drizzle, dizzle
Or pour right down
Onto my roof
With the sweetest sound
Drip drop
Drip drop
Splatter splatter
Plop plop
My heart is exploding with jubliant glee
No need to fear, this storm poses no threat to me
It's my way to meditation
My outlet for peace
Just rest your eyes and listen
Soothe those worries into relaxation
I'll enjoy this moment
And hope it's not soon to end
Because at any moment
The sun could begin again
Now I'm not emotional, and I'm not depressed
I just adore my rainstorm, much more than the rest
So drizzle, drizzle
Or pour right down
Onto my roof
With the sweetest sound
Drip drop
Drip drop
Splatter Splatter
Plop plop
