I'm lying here alone
In the clothes I wore yesterday
I'm thinking of you as I inhale
Your scent is woven deep in the threads you've stitched
To pull together what remains of my broken heart
Sometimes I wonder why you chose me
But the thought fades when I remember how
You took my hand and showed me life
Loved me for me and made me see that
Love can happen to anyone, anywhere
