Break The Right Heart
He sees her there across the way
Smiling up at him
All he can do is hope and pray
That she’ll look his way
He doesn’t know the first thing
What she likes or what she don’t
Or how she always used to sing
That is, until he came along
One boy knows it all
And one boy has to fall
And she says
Help me help me, please I’m
Stuck in the middle, don’t know what I’m doin’
Which way do I go, what do I do
This is harder then it looks
It’s not like the movies how do I?
Can I break the right heart this time.
Ev’ryone expects the most from her
That she’ll make the right choice
“She’s got her head on straight
Won’t let it be affected by some boys.”
But momma don’t understand
And she never will so she says
Help me help me, please I’m
Stuck in the middle, don’t know what I’m doin’
Which way do I go, what do I do
This is harder then it looks
It’s not like the movies how do I?
Can I break the right heart this time
One is her best friend
The other seems so perfect
And she’s too confused
Don’t know what to do
And she says
I can’t, I can’t please, baby
Don’t be mad, I know what I’m doin
You know where to go, you’ll know what to do
Don’t need me with you
This isn’t easy for either of us
I didn’t wanna do this to you
It stings like the cold, I’m torn like a page
It hurts worse then death but I set my stage
Baby, baby, please I’m not
Stuck in the middle, I know what I’m doin
I chose the right way, I know what to do
I’m glad that I chose you
