The Light You Give
From darkness to light God gives you love
From darkness, you will rise above
He'll see you glide into a new nest of light
Even with your light the dreadful darkness emerges
It pulls you under, so suffercating
But I know you'll pull through and He'll help you
From the new era of light, darkness feels like its taking over.
Even tho the darkness seems bright
And the light seems dim and far away
If your power forward goodwill will come
And the bad will disintegrate into the atmosphere
Nothing seems far away if you fight for it
Nothing seems dull if you have a positive output
Whether it be losing someone close
Gaining an enemy
Or simply feel all alone
The light will come forth
Comforting you
Holding you tight
Telling you it's OK to cry
Patting you on the back
Pushing the bad thoughts away
Crushing the suicidal thought that flood your brain
That Light will come on the form of someone who loves you
Always look ahead
Looking back will always cause you more pain
I know the darkness is filling you with anxiety
As long as you look to your light you'll be alright
For the rest of your life
Even if they are not there know that they are always holding your hand
And know your someone's Light to so you have to go on
Show yourself and everyone else that your worth fighting for
That darkness and depression that you're holding on to will only make you feel evil
Make you feel dark
But when you believe in you Gad can believe in you to
When you trust in yourself he won't need to.
When you believe that you're enough he won't have to show you.
So be who you've always been and never change unless YOU want to.
You're perfect whether you see it or not.
