TRACES OF YOUR LOVE
How I wish I was with you under the stars
How I wish I could make out with you in your car
The long texts of desperation
The late night video call of love and exaggeration
The long walks in the park
The late night kisses in the dark
The fine lines of your hands, when it fits perfectly into mine
Your hair, your hoodie n your coffee smells divine
But who knew what had cast you away
To be honest I didn't ask you for arrays
How devastated I was to know that memories stay but people don't
How you promised you would stay, How would i know you won't
How to erase your memories from my heart and brain
How much more do i have to drink for the pain
Now I wonder what life would’ve been if you stayed
Now we are just strangers with memories and I feel betrayed.
