I came to a new school not knowing what to expect
I became friends with you and that was the best
You showed me a new way of thinking, a new way of seeing things
Now everything's changed

Oh, my life's turned upside down
I'm a different person now
I always thought I was into guys
But you opened up my eyes, and
Whoa, I just can't believe
I never noticed before
But girls are just so pretty

Now I never thought this would happen to me
I barely knew what it was just 2 years ago
But hanging out with you I can start to see
This is really me

Oh, my life's turned upside down
I'm a different person now
I always thought I was into guys
But you opened up my eyes, and
Whoa, i just can't believe
I never noticed this before
But girls are just so pretty

Hey
Hey
Hey
I can't believe I thought I was straight
Like dang that was a big mistake
But now I can see who I really am
This is who I really am
And nothing's gonna change that at all
So happy Pride Month ya'll

Oh, my life's turned upside down
I'm a different person now
I always thought I was into guys
But you opened up my eyes, and
Whoa, i just can't believe
I never noticed this before
But girls are just so pretty

Favorite Quote:
“The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I guess that means we're just products of whoever made us and we don't have much control. The thing is, when people use that phrase, they ignore the most critical part: the falling. Within the logic of that saying, the apple falls every single time. Not falling isn't an option. So, if the apple has to fall, the most important question in my mind is what happens to it upon hitting the ground? Does it touch down with barely a scratch? Or does it smash on impact? Two vastly different fates. When you think about it, who cares about its proximity to the tree or what type of tree spawned it? What really makes all the difference, then, is how we land.”
― Val Emmich, Dear Evan Hansen

As someone who is apart of LGBT at my own school and is trans, this is something that needs to be shared, and I'm going to start it.
