Why the hell, do I need
To be,
Your hero.
Maybe because you were there.
Maybe because I saw you in need.
Maybe because it’s in my blood.
Maybe because if it were me,
Maybe I would need one too.
I’m not meant to be a hero.
I just care,
I’m just a coward,
Who wants to be there.
But I see
You going down a dark path,
I can’t get you out.
I don’t want you there,
I want you to be okay.
But I’m not meant to be a hero.
That just isn’t me.
A hero tries to save everyone.
But that ain’t in my,
Capability.
I’m sorry.
I can’t be,
Your hero.
