I've been torn apart from the inside out

Cast aside as a toy without innocence

As you can see, only a monster remains

Clamber through the halls

Echo my mangled voice

I can't escape these walls

A fate we can't avoid

My screaming goes unheard

Maybe for the best

'Cause if you knew my words

You would know that I'm more than a mess

Forced to be something that I'm not

A disaster and it's not my fault

But still I play my gruesome part

Clamber through the halls

Echo my mangled voice

I can't escape these walls

A fate we can't avoid

My screaming goes unheard

Maybe for the best

'Cause if you knew my words

You would know that I'm more than a mess

Locked away, kept out of sight

Pretend all day that I'm alright

But at night, I come alive

Shout to the darkness that I'm dying inside

Clamber through the halls

Echo my mangled voice

I can't escape these walls

A fate we can't avoid

My screaming goes unheard

Maybe for the best

'Cause if you knew my words

You would know that I'm more than a mess

Clamber through the halls

Echo my mangled voice

I can't escape these walls

A fate we can't avoid

My screaming goes unheard

Maybe for the best

'Cause if you knew my words

You would know that I'm more than a mess

What started as a song about Five Nights at Freddy's evolved into something more personal.
