In My Story
In every story there is
Conflict, there is pain
In every story there is
Beauty in the rain
And every day this story
Is a double-sided coin
And every day this story
Is a dual-edged blade
And if I need reminding
Just wait for the next day
And if I need reminding
Just look at days gone by
In each and every one of us
There is beauty in this place
In each and every one of us
There is a better world to be made
so technically this was written as a poem but i cant stop singing it. wrote this at camp(yes, camp was great, but no matter what mood im in my writing is depressing. consider the ending lines the product of being at a church camp filled with testimonies and scriptures and good will, and the rest m being my dark writing self)
we is all stories. we is all conflict and pain messes. we is all beautiful. we is all bad grammar sometimes. we is all able to help each other sometimes. we is all allowed to have grammar when we is trying a bad attempt at being funny and we is really bad at funny. but maybe that was so bad you laughed anyway.
