The Golden Sky
January 10, 2020
I miss you
and I wish you
were here by me
but now you’re free.
In great fields of green
where no one is mean.
Forever and ever
our hearts together
fly high
in The Golden Sky

I like the shortness of the poem. We are faced with the emotion of grief when we read about a close friend or relative finally being set free and having a better life somewhere up in the Golden sky.

I understand how it feels to lose someone so close and I know how it feels to grieve over your best friend too I recently posted a poem called "The Life Hidden in His Death" that is about my best friend who also passed and I think you might like it
This poem is deticated to my best friend ever to exsist and may he RIP
